REMINDER: THE LAST YOUTH WATERFOWL DAY FOR THE 2016-2017 WATERFOWL SEASON IN NORTH CAROLINA IS THIS COMING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11. Please remember that youth day has now been extended to any youth under 18 years of age. However, any youth that is 16 or older must have a valid NC hunting license (including the privilege to hunt waterfowl & HIP certification) and a federal duck stamp. Youth hunters may also still hunt swan and Canada geese as long as they have the proper permits. Youth hunters that are 16 or 17 must still be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older.
