The second part of bear season is fast approaching. In our part of the state, season returns on December 11 and runs through December 23.  Please remember that you must possess the appropriate license in order to harvest a bear.  Resident hunters must have a valid NC hunting license with the big game privilege, as well as the bear management e-stamp.  Non-resident hunters must possess a valid NC hunting license with the big game privilege, as well as the bear management e-stamp and a bear license.  The extra bear license and stamp will add$235 to your non-resident license price.
