This Saturday, February 10th, is the final youth waterfowl hunting day for the 2017-2018 North Carolina Waterfowl Season. This day is open to any youth under the age of 18. If the youth hunter is 16 or older, they must possess a valid NC hunting license with the privilege to hunt waterfowl and valid HIP certification as well as a federal duck stamp. All youth hunters must be accompanied by an appropriately licensed NC hunter over the age of 18. On youth day, the youth may also use their NE Hunt Zone Goose Permit and their Swan Permit, if they possess one.
